Save the dates are so important for weddings! They are the first bit of stationery you will send out to your invited wedding guests. It will tell your guests when and where you will be getting married and ensure that your guests have plenty of time to plan for travel arrangements.

Because I feel that save the dates are so important, I wanted to show you where you can make custom save the dates that are beautiful and budget friendly! Basic Invites has so many beautiful save the date templates that are customizable for the perfect look and vibe of your wedding. Not only do they have the traditional paper stationery, they also have magnet save the dates and save the date postcards! So, here we go, I’m going to customize a save the date on the Basic Invites website and show you the process.

Step 1: Choose a design from the beautiful collection of templates. You can also search by themes, type, orientation, etc. I chose the “Vintage Autumn Save-The-Date Cards” because I love all things vintage, classy, and beautiful!

Step 2: Play around with color combinations, fonts, wording, paper shape, Paper type (my personal favorite, Luxe Velvet!), foil or no foil, and the quantity.

Step 3: Last but not least, choose your envelope type. I like the return address printed on the envelope flap. You can also have your guests addresses printed on the front of the envelope! How nice is that?!

Voila! Once you receive your save the dates, grab some stamps and you’re ready to drop them in the mail!

It’s engagement season and I know all of you beautiful people are searching for the best vendors and websites. I partnered with Basic Invites to bring you all a discount to their amazing products! Besides save the dates, they also have wedding invitations, free wedding websites, shower invitations, and so much more.
